The California Western Monarch Day celebration on February 5th at the Pismo Beach Monarch Butterfly Grove saw a great crowd with equally great weather.

On the Central Coast New Wine Releases
In the beginning of each new year wineries start bottling their wine. It takes a wine a bit of time to settle down and mature and the aging process really makes a difference. After a few weeks or months in the bottle, the new vintages are released, frequently in May. The 2008 whites are on the market now and the 2007 reds are just being released and getting good reviews.
