Art in the Park @ Dinosaur Caves is proud to announce its seventh year of promoting local artisans of the Central Coast. This once-a-month event takes place at Dinosaur Caves Park in Shell Beach, along the path where the ocean meets the cliffs, on the first Sunday of every month (except July’s will be on Saturday) from May through November with over 100 local artists and craftsmen selling and displaying their work. The art include paintings, sculpture, pottery, glass, textiles, jewelry, wood and metal furniture, and more. 4th of July Celebration on the Pier
People come from near and far to celebrate the Fourth of July in Pismo Beach, and they are never disappointed! With music, food and a spectacular fireworks extravaganza, the free event is sure-fire fun for the whole family. Bring your beach chair or blanket, snacks and treats, and be sure to get an early start so you can find that perfect a spot on the sand or the beautiful promenade beside the Pismo Pier. Race starts at 8:30 AM rain or shine. The course is out and back on the sand starting at the Pismo Beach Pier. Walkers are welcome. Registration is from 7:30 – 8:15 AM at the pier on race day.
Checks: payable to the City of Pismo Beach.
Entry Fee: $15 with shirt, $10 without shirt. T-shirts will be available to the first 100 entrants who request them. Shirt size will be accommodated in order of entry.
Awards: medals for the top three places in 10 age divisions.
Conducted: by the San Luis Distance Club www.sldc.org
Age Division: 12 & Under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
