Pismo Beach’s St. Anthony’s Festa (Festival) is an annual event to celebrate the cultural contribution of the area’s Portuguese descendants. The parade was on Sunday 8-15-2010 at 9:30 AM this year.
St. Anthony Celebration is Aug. 13-15 in Pismo Beach
The schedule of events includes:
, crafts and gift certificates from several businesses at St. Anthony grounds, 390 Bello St., Pismo Beach.
The Apostle Catholic Church, 800 Bello St., Pismo Beach, where Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Following Mass, the parade will continue to the St. Anthony grounds, 390 Bello St., Pismo Beach, where sopas, a Portuguese soup of cabbage and beef poured over French bread, will be served at noon, followed by an auction.SOURCE: visaliatimesdelta.com

July 31: Stride with the Tide
Race starts at 8:30 AM rain or shine. The course is out and back on the sand starting at the Pismo Beach Pier. Walkers are welcome. Registration is from 7:30 – 8:15 AM at the pier on race day.
Checks: payable to the City of Pismo Beach.
Entry Fee: $15 with shirt, $10 without shirt. T-shirts will be available to the first 100 entrants who request them. Shirt size will be accommodated in order of entry.
Awards: medals for the top three places in 10 age divisions.
Conducted: by the San Luis Distance Club www.sldc.org
Age Division: 12 & Under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
