Pismo Beach merchants along Shell Beach Road help visitors get into the holiday spirit from 5 to 8 p.m. Shopping, refreshments, live music, grab bags for the kids and a Surfin’ Santa will be on hand. For more information, visit sbig.org .
The official lighting of the city of Pismo beach and Shell Beach. City Officials and Local Dignitaries join city residents and our guest from near and far to throw the switch that will light up the city and mark the official start of the season.
The following is the event program for “Light Up Pismo Beach” Friday, Dec. 2nd, 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
First stop Price Historical Park where Mayor Shelly Higginbotham flips the switch at 4:30 pm that will Light Up Price House.
The Mayor will then proceed to Shell Beach where she will join members of the Shell Beach Improvement Group as they Light Up Shell Beach at 5:30 pm.
And then Downtown Pismo Beach to join those already at Holiday Harmony,`which starts at 5:30 pm, where the Mayor presides over the ceremony that will light the cities new 70 foot tree at the end of the pier and officially “Light Up Pismo Beach”.
